19 Greyson felt a crick growing in his neck as he spread the dirt around the last hedge. Finally, he was done with the maze and could move on to a different section of the garden. He straightened, stretching his arms and back. Damn, it felt good. As he picked up his tools, he surveyed the creation that took weeks of back-breaking labor. Right now it looked like a pretty design on the lawn, but in a few years, when the hedges grew tall, it’d become a place a person could lose themselves in, however briefly that might be.
