Chapter 29. Rick

1660 Words

Rick's POV I don't like seeing Angela suffer like this. Even though she keeps a cheerful face and her chatter makes my ears buzz, I know that being in a wheelchair and still unable to do many things, especially having to take a break from her studies during recovery, must be making her suffer. She doesn't say it because I'm sure she doesn't want me to worry too much. But I can feel it. "I'll get some food first, you just stay here, okay." I said softly after helping her onto the sofa. Her face was still flushed after I helped her bathe a few minutes ago. Isn't it cute? Throughout the bath, she didn't dare to look at my face. Even though I had no intentions, considering her leg was still hurting. But seeing her so shy was truly adorable. "Sorry, I should have prepared breakfast for you."
