For some reason, the way Rick answered my question about his ex-wife made me unsure if he had truly forgotten her. Because of that, I became afraid, afraid that mas he would choose her if she came back. I was so afraid that he would leave me, I haven't been sleeping well for the past few days. But I didn't dare to say what I was thinking, for fear that he would think I was overreacting.
"Angela, would you like some chicken soup?" Aunt Laura asked gently, disrupting all my thoughts about mas Rick's ex-wife. I really like Alvian's mother. A very gentle and loving person. She also likes to talk like me. But from what I see, Alvian is just like Rick, the type who is very reserved with people he isn't close to. Maybe Uncle Brad passed on that trait.
