I watched Johnathan as yet another suprise was dealt to him this evening.
"I knew it!" Joshua whooped in excitement. "Ye were always too damn strong to be a bear shifter."
"After the last attempt on your life, your mother said she could not take it anymore and left to travel with you. I had the witches change your shifting abilities to a bear, but your dragon traits were always so strong they manifested even in your bear. We knew if you ever found a dragon mate that your shifting abilities would show your true form." Jules explained.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Was all he said.
"You were happy and mated, living in a wolf pack. You had the boys to take care of, and honestly, dragons can live for a very long time, as you know. We didn't think it would be an issue anytime soon.
