I stepped out of the room, descending the stairs to see Joshua, Meg, and Zeke waiting for me. "I'm sorry to disturb you, but it's urgent. There seems to be some foul play going on with the pack plane. Charles has his jet ready for the morning. We want you to get in the SUVs and leave as usual. We plan to shimmer everyone out of the vehicles while they are moving." Zeke was quick to give me an explanation. "Charles is meeting with Alpha Matthew and Beta Nikolai now if you want to join them?"
