I watched Ronan's expression smooth out to normal. “Very interesting family you have, Johnathan. It makes sense now why you fight so well as a hybrid and bear shifter.” He laughed, smacking me on the back as he normally would, going seamlessly back into conversation. I exchanged a look with Joshua, which said we were going to talk about this later. The conversation went into an easy flow after that. I kept an eye over Ronan's shoulder where Madeline was talking with Meg and Zyanna. I noticed Garrett stopped to speak with them before Liam pulled him into another conversation. I still had a good feeling about Garrett as I watched him interact. I hope he takes up my offer to come and train with us again.
