I felt my heart skip a beat at the thought of showing what she truly was to the Dragon world. Her kind had been hunted to extinction. Wars had started over her kind, and I looked at Jostein. Dragons lived for a long time, so to have our great ancestor still living would not be uncommon, but to have him live so long without his soul connection was unusual, if not unheard of.
