I slowly wake up. My body aches, and it burns. My body did not feel this bad after the last battle. My mind is exhausted. I want to open my eyes to see where I am, but I can't. My eyelids are just so heavy, it feels like I have weights on them, weighing them down. I'm so drained. Instead of trying to force my eyes open, I settle for taking a big deep breath of air. Suddenly, the smell of sandalwood and vanilla fills my nose. Blaze. We must be laying in our bed. My smell is all but gone from here because I've been away for so long, but I’ve finally made it home.
