Ember   I slowly wake up. My body aches, and it burns. My body did not feel this bad after the last battle. My mind is exhausted. I want to open my eyes to see where I am, but I can't. My eyelids are just so heavy, it feels like I have weights on them, weighing them down. I'm so drained. Instead of trying to force my eyes open, I settle for taking a big deep breath of air.
