It's dark, quiet and peaceful.
suddenly an annoying sound echoes.
I flutter my eyes open to my parlor ceiling.
I guess I slept in the living room.
I look to my side, and it's my phone ringing.
Brenda's name flashes.
I answer.
"Hey, girl!" Brenda exclaims excited
"What's up?" I ask with a yawn as I strength.
Normally when Brenda calls this early in the morning it's often for one stupid reason like I have a date tonight and I have nothing to wear, or I think I am getting fat recommend me a diet.
Today she seems more excited.
I hope it's worth the hype.
"You're on TV!" Brenda squeals
My heart skips a beat.
"What?!" I shout unsure
I grab the remote, flipping through channels, and boom there I am on the screen
