HELEN POV I sit in the living room. Watching Claire dance, around the room singing. "The best friend I have is mommy Rose, mommy Rose. Mommy Rose is the best!" she chirps. Her laughter fills the air. Joy radiates from her. Roman's doing well too. It's crazy how quickly she came back to her feet. That's the importance of a mother in a child's life. I smile, feeling grateful for that young woman.
