When she kicks back!

The Chat

After Rick retrieves our food from the OBVIOUSLY  food guy he comes and plops back down on the sofa handing me my BBQ pizza and him with his double cheese burger and chips. We dive straight into our food while watching the soap on the TV. Half way through our food Rick turns to me to get my attention. I sigh but continue eating.

"I know you don't want to have this chat but it is very important so please just listen" He nudges me.

I just nod so that he can just get on with it quicker.

"Right well you know what happened with you farther, mother, sister and brother, well that was a targeted hit from a mafia gang that have had it out for your farther since he took over, well the person that is the head of that gang is actually your uncle" I nearly choke on my food at that point, turning wide eyed  at Rick, he sighs but continues.

"Yes I know, your uncle had a problem with your grandfather because your grandfather saw him unfit to take over and lead the gang so he handed it to your dad instead, obviously this caused chaos between the two and your uncle decided to break off from the family to start his own which are called Dark Dog, your farther kept tabs on him to make sure that he wasn't causing any problems that would result in us having to step in to sort it, well after about 5 years of your dad running the mafia we prospered, we became the top dogs in New York and even other gangs from out of the states knew not to mess with us. When your dad found your mother and had you 3 he was happy because everything was in place and going so well, well about a week before they died your mother encountered someone from your uncles gang who said that the boss is coming back to take over and destroy you all.. well after your mother told your dad, your dad sent a message to your uncle telling him to back off or else, obviously this didn't go down well and a week later he had sent everyone one of his members to attack you. I was out at this point because your dad wanted me to track his brother down because within that week it was like he dropped off the face of the earth. As I was heading back because I couldn't find him. when your dad sent me the emergency message 'CODE RED', I rushed back as fast as I could to help but I was too late, when I got to the room I found you and you was covered head to toe in blood with a pair of scissors in your hand and about 5 people dead and then your siblings and parents too. You was stood over the top of one guy with next to no emotion on your face and panting, to be honest I was shocked and a little scared of you but the last thing your dad told me was to protect you the best I can and hide you, I never under stood why until I saw you that day. you was like another person. but anyway, once I scoped you up in my arms you passed out and I brought you here to try give you a normal life the best I could, now I know this is not normal because I trained you to be a mafia boss, that is because I knew one day that you would have to take over and bring us back to the top again. Now I know this is a bit overwhelming but nearly half of our gang survived that attack and are waiting for you to take over, now I will be behind you in what ever decision you make, I just hope you know that your farther wanted what is best for you so he already had everything prepared, there is a secret mansion located near the coast that has been hidden from everyone including the Dark Dog gang. Everyone is waiting for you if you wish to take over". 

Now for me this is just mad, I knew when I was a kid that my farther was some sort of boss but I didn't want to know anything but with the fact that my dad had planned for me take over instead of my other siblings  is a bit weird because I was the youngest... 

" What is this uncle of mine name?" that is the only question that popped into my head, I don't know why but it did.

Rick looked at me wide eyed and a bit confused but decided to answer me anyway.

"His name is Logan Black"

"Hu, ok" I couldn't think of anything else to say to that.

"You have until your 18th birthday Serena to decide other wise it will have to be me that takes over and to be honest I don't really want to because I don't know how to lead but it runs in your veins to lead so please consider it, I don't really want to put you in this position but I have no other choice" I could hear the sadness in his voice and it did kind of make me sad.

"Ok I will"....

After that we finished eating and I went to my room to think, climbing into my bed I lay staring at the ceiling and process through everything Rick just told me. Turning to my side I let of a sigh and decide I will just have to wait and see what the next day brings , because I know I want revenge for my family but it is a big decision to make considering that everyone is now relying on me.

Slowly closing my eyes I think back to my past and about my family I once loved and cherished. Oh god why do you have to be so mean to me.....
