It seems my sister isn’t a welcomed guest at Victor’s manor. I was told to wait outside the gate despite having the title of Mrs. Lopez until they find out from Victor if he wants to see me. After what felt like forever but five minutes on my wristwatch, we were finally granted entrance to the manor.
I’m not familiar with the environment, so I allowed Jeremy to lead the way. He led us to a white tall door, pushed it open but didn’t make any attempt to go in. My brows arched, questioning his rooted stance. “Mr. Lopez does not permit the low ranks into his office.”
