Two weeks and I can proudly say I’m healing better. Dominico spends the night here with me and Domine. Although we pretend that everything was okay, the dark cloud keeps hovering around us. Questions that we’ve been dreading to ask are there, reminding us that no matter how hard we try to avoid it, it must come up one day.
One of the questions I have for him is why I’m staying at Zadok’s place instead of our house. I need to know what’s going on with Jacqueline, I need to know what happened to her and what happened to Jayden, especially since I’ve not heard anything from him…or about him.
