Chapter 11: There's No Place Like Home
The day was a spectacular success. Before the whole office, standing like a preacher amidst a corporate congregation, Sasha announced that she was ashamed of the way she'd acted. Trent watched her demurely from the back of the crowd, wincing only at the most self-deprecating jokes. Sasha named him to head the new social media branch, and told everybody that she welcomed this new, bold direction for the company.
"I didn't get it," she said. "But I get it now."
She fielded questions from the usual parties, met with Leshandra once more to formally commit to their promises, and then retreated to Trent's office to finish out the day.
