He never really thought Ruth was all that important when she was around. Honestly, he even thought she was a bit of a nutcase—still caught up in love and romance like some teenager. With Justin's status, it was perfectly normal for him to have a few "friends" around him. If Ruth couldn't handle it, she could leave. She had no business thinking she could tie Justin down.
