Justin walked out of Raymond’s office in a daze, snapping out of it only when Peter called his name.
Peter looked at Justin with a puzzled expression. He thought he’d heard Justin saying Ruth’s name and asked again, “Where to?”
Leaning back, Justin rubbed his face hard, trying to clear his foggy mind. Maybe he’d partied too much lately, leaving him in a constant haze.
“What was Ruth’s relationship with Raymond like?” he blurted out.
“Huh?” Peter blinked at him. “What? Ruth and who? Mr. Wilson?”
“Yeah.”
“I don’t think Ruth ever interacted with Mr. Wilson.”
