My Evil

193 Words
Staring at a face that once held the smile of an innocent boy, I see the chuckles of a cold merciless killer, but now in my last minute, it feels as though my reflection is looking back, an empty soul knowing nothing but survival as a life style. By the sword I willed, cherished and gave in love, I die. I guess I had it coming, starting an apocalypse to survive, accusing the innocent to triumph. It's all a game I thought, you have to hit to rise. I had no choice in this game, born with an unaccustomed ability to scheme. Yes! to scheme, it doesn't feel like much but can destroy a nation and build it back up with an infinity cracks too microscopic to see. I had the power to make the imperfect, perfect at least close enough. I was accused and dragged into this life, but should have known that wasn't the end. Maybe it was better to die innocent than to die guilty. Maybe I wasn't so innocent after all to let it get this far. Convincing myself to be selfish, really does have a well deserved ending.
