One long, cold shower proved to be as effective as a cup of water to a forest fire. Jaxson braced his hands against the wet tiled wall and just allowed the cool water to flow off his back. Chloe was going to be the death of him, he thought. Hunter had every reason to be worried. He was spending too much time and effort on a woman hell-bent on driving him crazy or to an early grave.
