Chloe woke up to the sun shining in her eyes through the large windows. She squeezed her eyes shut and groaned. The light was too much for her eyes that felt like they had sand in them and weighed a ton. After turning her body the other way and giving the window her back, Chloe tried again to open her eyes again. It was much better this time. The room was bright, but it was manageable. Chloe blinked and looked around, for a moment disoriented and not sure exactly where she was. She had thought she was in the tiny room on campus. She recognized that she was looking at the other half of an enormous bed, which she was lying on. Vaguely registering the comfort of the bed and the softness of the tangled sheets around her.
