TWO MONTHS LATER
Chloe ate her chocolate and vanilla ice cream with an amused smile on her face. She looked around the mall before fixing her eyes back on the handsome man seated next to her.
Jaxson had a straight face on. He definitely didn’t look like a man seated on a bench enjoying a cup of mint-flavored ice cream. He didn’t even dress the part. Clad in black cargo pants, a black t-shirt, and a leather jacket, which she knew concealed at least two deadly weapons. Jaxson looked more like a man on a mission to do harm than a boyfriend taking his girlfriend out for ice cream.
It made her smile every time she thought of Jaxson as her boyfriend. It was Hunter who had started it. Jaxson wasn’t a big fun or the title. He preferred to call Chloe his woman and nothing else.
