Ryle's POV
I got home before 11 somethin' and I still can't forget what happened between me and Mikki earlier. Even in my
In my previous life, I did fall for someone really hard. But it was totally different from what I felt towards Mikki. Whenever
he looked at me. I felt as if he was looking through my soul and that made me uncomfortable. Even if I have been trained
since I was a kid, and including my experience from the past, it was already too obvious for me to realize that he's guarded towards me.
He always looked at me blankly, but I could already tell what he was thinking, as I'm already familiar with those looks of his.
He was suspecting me. And it bugged him that he was suspecting for a reason that wasn't clear to him at all.
But still, I can't stop my eyes from following his every move. He was cold, straightforward, strange, and may look
arrogant sometimes. Have I already tell you that he was really really cute, handsome, and charismatic?
Geez...please don't think I'm a p*****t or anything.
I am now on the balcony of my room on the third floor. I don't hate the light, but I can't deny that I hold the night
dear to my heart. It's been three weeks since I last had a dream about the previous events. I wonder why it arose once
again out of nowhere.
I leaned my body onto the baluster, and watched the view in front of me. I have always loved a garden that's
bigger than our house. I asked the gardener to plant different kinds of flowers that'd look eye-catching, especially
in the night.
Humming has been my habit and most of the time I also sing. This is the time where I close my eyes and pour out
all the feelings that piled up in me through humming. Going along with the song with the sadness and grief that I was
feeling for the people that I've lost along the way.
I actually am supposed to lead an organization one day. We don't do bad stuff or any sort. Originally, my parents were the ones who kept the organization running and influential, but ever since they were ambushed when I was 5, a lot of our enemies in the political world took it as an opportunity to overdo their corruption.
Our nation is an oligarchy.
Because of my age, I can't be elected to a higher position. Even if I become 18 soon, the required age is 39 and up.
It would probably be too late by then. So I am going to be the one that leads and manages everything in the dark when I turn 18.
*knock!*knock!*knock!
"Come in." I said and already guessed that it was Nana, who was my female assistant aside from Alaric.
She always walks without a noise, even if my hearing is trained to be better than average.
She's no joke. I warn you.
"Miss Rayle, Sir James wants to talk to you and is currently waiting downstairs," she said with a clear and smooth
voice like an angel.
Little did you know, she was one of the top assassins this country's been looking for ever since.
Exhaling, I turned my back and made my way out of my room with Nana tailing behind me. This mansion is styled
like an old castle. There are traps everywhere, so you can't really walk normally, especially when you're held captive by
how complex and beautiful it looks. I really don't know if I were to applaud my mother's work, or be thankful that it was
the most secure way for those who have other ulterior motives.
I wasn't the only one who actually thinks like that. Everyone was, pfft.
They always have a frown on their faces whenever they're walking in the corridor, and their usual blank faces
disappears into obvious distaste every time. For example, just like how Nana's face looks right now.
Moving on, I'm really now getting annoyed at how long this corridor is with so many twists and turns.
This freaking s**t.
It was a good thing that I saw James waiting ahead just a few steps away from us. He was wearing a long white sleeve
partnered with an expensive looking black trench coat. He always says that style is everything and I could always tell
that he's serious whenever we meet. Especially with those shiny brown shoes of his, and unique black wool trousers.
And I figured, he had better stay that way forever. Because if his fashion style is ever a mess, it is already a sign.
It means there's something really big about to hit us. And it's far more important than his unyielding belief in his everyday wear.
"Rayle, I'm sorry for visiting this late at night. However, there's something I gotta' talk to you about.", he
said while looking at me in the eyes.
Gesturing to Nana, I ordered her to call Alaric as well. I don't know if it's a bad day today or what, but it's not like
I have a choice either way.
Me and James walked to our meeting room located on the 2nd floor. It's where we commonly make plans for
what to do in the future, and other important matters. Sitting on the chair in front of a medium-sized table, we began our
talk.
As always, my head was leaned on the back of the wooden chair, while at the same time, writing significant words
in my notepad everywhere.
"If it's like that, we have to put a tail on that 'Armando' first. We still don't know who he currently serves, but I'm certain it's
either Georgia, or Benett. They both suffered losses when the arrest was successful. One of them will surely try and find a new
source of power linked to the military once again. I will leave it for you to handle, James."
Nodding, he replied, "Hah, so that's what it was. They did well hiding such things. I knew something was strange
when it suddenly got busy and incidents were popping up here and there. Turns out, it was you're doing after all. "
Alaric chuckled in his seat by my right side. "Serves them well though."
Nana was just nodding blankly, which is her usual expression. However, I suddenly realized something when my attention
was struck by the white tulip decoration in front of me.
As if realizing something, I stood up and stared strangely at it.
White. White. White.
Somehow, I don't feel good about this.
Just a week ago, I was on a mission. The same mission we were talking about just now. There are 2 associations
that we're enemies of. The first is the one known as Milleas, and the other is Gibotta. They both hold extreme power
in the government and is composed of wealthy families linked to various industries. However, most of their money
come from illegal acts and corruption.
I felt the questioning stare of everyone, as if wondering what I was thinking. Going back and forth, I tried to
remember everything that happened back then. We gathered evidence and stuff and gave it to the police. We also
spread the unforgivable acts of Amadon, who was the ally of both Georgia and Benett. On the day of the trial, I saw
something definitely strange on the way.
Why did the head of the Gibotta, Raymond, be all alone?
Amadon's case is actually not that big of a deal.
Trying to remember what other things I'd seen, I turned back to ask the person who knew Amadon well.
"Alaric, is Raymond the type to go out by himself?" I asked and turned to look at him.
With confusion on his face, he replied, "No, he always has guards around him. He may be a crazy ass bastard,
but it's not something Raymond would ever do."
Smirking, I couldn't help but curse.
"Nana, order one of our men to re-investigate Armadon's case properly again. Everything down to the tiniest detail."
I felt a prickly sensation when I looked at the white lilies in front of me.
James stood up and asked what was wrong. I didn't want to drop the bomb, but I'm sure of it now. Plucking up
all the lilies inside the vase. I didn't give a damn whether it was causing such a mess all over the floor.
It was then that I remember that I saw an SUV which costs more than a normal person could ever afford, even with money.
There was definitely someone who got inside that car and was wearing white oxford shoes.
"It seems there's really a pest bigger than Raymond after all. And that I saw him a week ago."
They looked at each other more seriously now. The atmosphere has gone heavy. I then declared that it was time to
end the night.
This is just the start. No, we're just starting.
I'll find those behind the incident in my previous life. James may have been here, but I can't ever forget the way
he looked that night. I won't let the same thing ever happen again.
I may be a teenager now, but I already have the skills and experience. I'll build my power and surely crush
each and every single one of them. Maybe not for me, but for the sacrifices everyone has made before then. After all,
that was what I had promised to the moon in exchange for my life.
"You guys all know what to do already. And Nana, look at the CCTV on the day of Amadon's trial. It's unlikely
we'll find anything big, but even a piece of crap would do as a hint."
Before I left the room, I had one last look at James. As if knowing what my gaze meant, he nodded in return.
"It was an eventful night, our succeeding pinuno."
Grinning, I said while looking at my hands trembling, "Likewise, James."

Delilah's POV
Hi, guys! I'm Delilah Mysterio D. Cantos, but you can just call me 'Delilah'. I'm a girl member of 'ASTERI'.
Everyone of us can sing & dance, but each of us are specialized in a single field. I play the piano in our group and it's
unexpected for someone who has a bubbly personality like me, isn't it?
Right now, we're in a big gym in a place called 'San Filipe'. We're performing for one of our fan's birthday. Our agency
decided that participating in an event to one of our fan since the beginning would be such a great gift. It was an eventful
afternoon and the gym was packed of people.
I am always grateful to our supportive fans because they have been there with us ever since. They watched us grow
and we're with us through ups and downs. Without them, we wouldn't be where we are today. It's what makes us work
hard every time we got a performance.
Scanning through the audience, I tried to look for Rayle. She's one of our fans and because we always see her present
in our every show, we eventually gotten close and became friends with her.
Where is she?
"Guys, Elise's Mother is already calling us to eat. Get your belongings first, and we'll take care of the others." said Manager Steven
Agreeing, all of us began to pack our things. My bag is already set so I immediately stood up and tried to look for
Ryle amongst the crowd. It's an advantage somehow to be on top of the stage in cases like this. As if most of us had the
same thought, everyone was now busy looking for Ryle.
"Did she say she'll come today?" asked Valentina who is now calling Ryle through her phone
Valentina T. Asteria is the lead female singer of ours. She has really a high, and captivating music which fits our
music which fits our rock-ballad genre. She is also the female visual in our group. She's tall and skinny, and with
her pointed nose, light-brown eyes, thick eyelashes, and pinkish lips. Who wouldn't believe that, right?
Well, I look good too, hihi.
Of course, I mean we all look good. Don't mind me, guys. Seriously.
"She did. Delilah messaged her. Right, Delilah?" Mateo
Actually, we think Mateo has a thing for Valentina. We've been together for years now. Of course, It's just a conclusion.
But he really acts differently towards Valentina. They also grew up together somehow, after all.
"Yup, she did. But I forgot to ask what she'll be wearing though." Delilah
I secretly took a glance at Mikki who was leaning up against the wall. He seemed not to care at all, as he was just looking
ahead.
But who knows, right?
There's a possibility he's also searching for Ryle amongst the crowd. I couldn't help but chuckle evilly even though it
was just a mere thought of mine. While the other who heard me looked at me strangely as if I was a psycho or something.
Which only makes me chuckle louder.
"Oh, nevermind. There she is." Levi said, pointing somewhere.
We immediately looked at where his finger was pointed at and saw Ryle, who I think is having difficulties...?
In an instant, all eyes were looking towards Mikki. Well, why do you ask?
Uhm, currently, there are boys who are somehow blocking her path. Well, ahem, of course we're somehow...'ya know
expecting something to happen. Nothing big at all.
Mikki just looked at us blankly and turned his face to the other side.
"Tskk! This guy really..."
"If I could, I'd really punch this guy hard in the face."
"Boo..."
All of us couldn't help mumbling in the air. Not caring if Mikki would hear us or not.
Hah, I'm really looking forward to the day Mikki will explode in jealousy.
After all, Rayle is not just charismatic. She is also out-going, peculiar, and has a different kind of beauty. The type who
has that mysterious and chilling aura around her. If I were a boy, I would undoubtedly fall for her, period.
Yes, just like a rose.
Valentina then tried to silence us, as I think Rayle had already answered her call. In the end, Rayle said that she'll catch
up with us later.
" Luckily, she said that there's someone she knows and that we don't have to wait for her. That we should all go and
eat already."
Sighing, I couldn't help myself but tease Mikki. The others had already got down onto the stage as I purposefully
let myself the last to go down with Mikki. I acted as if I bumped into him accidentally and said, "Sorry. That wasn't
on purpose, I swear."
Smiling at the end of my sentence, Mikki looked at me as if he was about to kill me. Scared, I immediately went down
the stairs before him practically running.
Geez...I regret it now. Gosh...that stare, kyahhhh!
" I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Geez...I was just kidding, my friend!" I said while going down
"Hah! What a terrible actress you are, stupid." Mikki said before I went to the backstage.
I could literally feel his 'you're dead' stare at the back of my head. Yep, that's why I don't involve him much in my pranks.
Yikes, that boy is 'dead-end' y'all.
But how dare he say that I'm a terrible actress? Hmmp! Who is he to say that?
He may have the looks and charisma almost the same as Rayle, but how dare he say that to my acting skills?
He's a bully. He's dark. He's evil, guys.
Thinking back, while I was walking to the house of our fan Elise, I realized something.
Oh, yeah! The stairs of the stage were really wide. It helped us carry out stuff backstage easily. It was wide enough
to fit 5 to 6 people.
Yeah.
...Yeah?
Frozen in front of Elise's house full of people and a lot of delicious food on top of a big long table. That's
when it hit me.
Oh. The stairs were wide enough.
UNKNOWN's POV
...What's taking her so long?
