"Damn it, where did you get this information?"
John's sudden appearance at my place sent a wave of panic through me.
If Nash found out about his bold actions, both of us would be expelled from the pack, and my father would be implicated as well.
But seemed utterly unfazed.
"Sweetheart, relax. Chief won't suspect us. He shared this crucial information with me alone out of everyone in the pack. That means he still trusts me. We now have the chance to eliminate our biggest threat!"
Something felt off to me.
Everything was going too smoothly.
Was Nash really that easy to deceive?
