I whispered the words like a mantra. I wanted Lucien around me. Hell, I wanted his hand on my thigh, calming me down while I watched other people analyze the business, and give the possible percentages of a success or failure. But I couldn't stop thinking about everything that he had done. The betrayal. Nothing was going to remain the same.
