Olivia and I had sat in silence for a while as we waited for her men to give us any information we could get but now I was tired of doing nothing. I had to be productive somehow. Maybe if Anna wasn’t here, I could spend some time with James.
“I’ll be back, let me go see James” I told her.
She smiled at me, “Go do that. He’s been missing you and now with his twin gone,” my heart stopped at that, “I’m sure he’ll want to be with his mom even more”
I knew what she meant. I had been scared so many times and I had yearned for my mother even though she had never come. With time I had learned to stop yearning, I wouldn’t let James suffer the same thing, I would love and protect him at the same time.
