As I drove back to my office, I looked at my phone again to see what message I had received and sighed to myself. My mother had contacted Hannah since she couldn’t contact me, telling me to meet up with her.
Since I had come back, I had tried my best to make sure that I didn’t meet up with either my mother or sister, I wasn’t ready to face the betrayal from both of them like I had before. It still hurt even after all these years.
