My phone rang first thing in the morning, waking me up from the restless sleep I had been in. grumpily, I picked up the call wondering who it was that was calling me so early. It definitely wasn’t Hannah.
I was right when Lily’s voice came through the phone, “Where is my husband?” she spat out.
My brows wrinkled in confusion until I realized she had meant Lucien and he was indeed with me, not in my bed of course. I sighed, “He should be home in a few minutes. Let me get him up”
