The Competition Winner

I'm sat in Santorini watching the sunset from my balcony with a glass of red wine and some olives. I'm currently on winter break from work. Well it may not seem like work to some as I'm an F1 driver, it started out as a hobby when I was younger but I fell in love with the thrill of the drive and the way my mind is completely clear except for what I needed to do to win that race. I became obsessed with it and luckily my mum and dad supported me through it all as I wouldn't be where I am now without them.

I'm 25 and living a life of luxury I really can not complain but it can get lonely, I do have my manager though Harry. He had been going on and on that I need to be seen doing more commercial gigs, so he came up with the bright idea of an evening with me Greyson Russel. I'm not too optimistic about this but if my manager believes this is a good idea then I'm not one to say no.

I've recently become single, my ex-girlfriend couldn't handle the pressure of watching me race at 200mph during the racing season and said she can't stand the thought of loosing me to a crash so she had to walk away. I get it, I do, but it's my career and something I'm so passionate about I couldn't walk away from it for her.

I was hoping that a guy might apply for this competition, so I could have a lads night with beer and wings, but it's mainly looking like desperate gold diggers wanting a free meal with a millionaire, something to brag about. Harry and I must have gone through about 450 application over the weekend and we hadn't found many that were suitable.

By the deadline we had it whittled down to 5, Beth, Avery, Joanne, Chloe and Maddison. I get to choose from the five girls above, they all have decent responses to the application, however, my favourite has to be Avery's when she said she was too shy to come and say hello when she was younger, and wants this opportunity to just say hi. Once I'd read that I knew I wanted to make her dream a reality so I informed Harry to congratulate Avery, and to set the date for the evening with me.

We had to do the evening before the beginning of the new season, that's the only request I had, I wanted it out of the way so I could concentrate on being the best version of myself behind the wheel of my formula 1 car. That gave us 6 weeks to set a date.

After we had decided it would be Avery I could finally relax and enjoy the rest of this week in Santorini. I've been here a few days now and I'm thinking of moving on to somewhere new, it's so busy with tourists not that I can say much I am one. I do however like a little peace and quiet and maybe a little history of the area I'm staying in. I decided to ask Harry to get me a flight to Athens and a hotel there for the rest of the week.

There is so much to explore there I really fancy doing the Acropolis again seeing all of the architecture there and how it has with stood the test of time and the elements fascinates me. Maybe the rest of this holiday won't be as bad as I was expecting now I've come up with this brilliant plan.
