Setting The Date

(Greyson's POV)

Harry came in to the gym and informed me that Avery had responded, every Friday evening and every other Saturday. I can work around that, "Harry, can you ask if she can do Friday 5th February please?" I asked.

"On it boss will let you know the response" he replied to me.

I figured if I got this out of the way sooner it would be best, and to do it on a Friday evening leaves the rest of the weekend for family time then. No I don't have children I'm too young at the moment for them, but I am the youngest of 3 siblings and you can imagine how rowdy we are as a family of 5 at the weekends. I do love spending time with my family it is not always possible though.

I've got 6 weeks till the next season starts so I try to see all my friends and family as much as I can before I start going all around the globe for the racing calender. My favourite race weekend has got to be my home race Silverstone the crowd is wild and really helps with momentum, even though it is difficult to hear them once we have are helmets on and engines running.

(Avery's POV)

I've had a response from Greyson asking if I can do Friday 5th February, of course I can, I'd rearrange plans if I had any. I got back to Greyson confirming the day and requesting a time, place to meet and location of where we are planning to go. I know it seemed alot but I had to inform my dad and best friend Amelia, of where I was and who I was going with so if anything went wrong at least 2 people knew where I was supposed to be.

My dad has always advised me of how important safety is and what to do when going on first dates or meeting with people for the first time. It's drilled so far into my brain I'll never forget and it becomes second nature I guess to inform those closest to you of plans. Family has always been a big thing for me, I'm an only child my mum and dad struggled to get pregnant for a few years resulting in miscarriages, I guess that's why we were struggling, we weren't hoping to fall pregnant but if it happened it was meant to be that was our outlook on starting a family.

With me being an only child my parents are very protective over me, some people see it as controlling but they just care about their little girl out in the big bad world.

(Greyson's POV)

Harry phoned me to let me know Avery had confirmed the Friday 5th was a good date and wanted to know a few other pieces of information regarding the night. I decided i'd pick her up for 6pm and then go out for a meal and then possibly the cinema or a walk along the beach let her decide how to end the night. I was actually looking forward to next Friday, let's see where the night takes us.
