Dinah's POV

Jayden managed to lead us into the mansion through a back entrance, making me once again surprised by how resourceful he was.
"You know there are maids and other staff within this place, right?" I queried with a whisper, staring around when we entered a dimly lit corner close to the dining room. "Also, what did you do with the cameras? We—"
"Shhh." He suddenly placed a finger in front of my lips without looking back, causing my eyelids to flutter with confusion before my face heated up with a blush.
Eventually, he glanced back at me. "The cameras are down. Temporarily, at least. And most of the staff are already asleep. All we need to do is sneak upstairs, break into your father's office and find that envelope."
He stared at me for a second too
