Dinah's POV
We stepped into St. Maria's hospital with a goal in mind to find anything that could help us in our investigations. It was situated in the middle of a damn forest and from the moment we stepped in I hated every part of it.
Hospitals always seemed to carry a somber atmosphere, likely due to being a junction between life and death, but this one felt particularly unsettling. This was worse. Jayden hand brushed mine and I jolted up in shock.
“Would you calm down?" He asked, searching my eyes for something. I nodded, taking a deep breath. I was fine. I was perfectly fine.
The last lady walked out of the waiting room and my eyes landed on the receptionist waiting behind her table.
