Lisa's right arm looped tightly around my neck, and the cold edge of her blade pressed upward against my throat. Her other hand gripped my arm, pushing me forward from behind. I had to tilt my head slightly back to avoid the blade slicing into my chin, leaving me uncomfortably exposed. The streets were empty as we walked, eventually stopping in front of a dilapidated house. Its long-abandoned state was obvious, with a crooked "For Sale" sign hanging by the door, its faded letters barely legible. I had no idea how they'd found this place. Lisa kicked open the decaying door, shoving me into the overgrown front yard. The air smelled of neglect, and the ground was littered with fragments of old construction materials.
