Tyrone had once left me Simon's number on a slip of paper. It was still in my bedroom, so I needed to get home first. The man in front of me seemed trustworthy enough, but I had no way of knowing for sure. Dressed in hospital scrubs with no money to my name, asking for his help was my only option.
