That bunch of keys was definitely not with me. It wasn’t just because I was afraid I wouldn’t have time to grab them, but because I never even considered taking them. Whether Tyrone believed what I said or not, his hasty retreat still made me laugh. After such a busy day, I was completely exhausted, and before I knew it, I had fallen into a deep sleep. How lucky I was to get a good rest after the shooting incident earlier in the day. When I opened my eyes, Tintin was curled up beside my bed. "What’s wrong?" I rubbed my eyes, put on my slippers, and asked how Tintin ended up here. Tintin just stuck out his tongue and looked at me. I patted his head. "Awake?" Tyrone was leaning against the doorframe, watching me. "I was worried you might have a nightmare, so I brought Tintin over."
