Mattew sat quietly with Ethan and Natalia after the competition, finishing dinner in a calm and relaxed mood. The food was good, and the atmosphere felt lighter than before. Natalia looked especially happy after her win, and her excitement showed in the way she spoke and smiled throughout the meal.
Magnus tried a few times to tease Mattew about what he had done earlier on the field, but Mattew simply ignored it. He was not interested in showing off or explaining himself. He had acted the way he did because he wanted to, not because he needed anyone’s approval.
