Vinie let out a long breath, then finally gave a slow nod as if he had weighed every possible outcome in his mind. “Alright. I’ll think about it,” he said at last. “That’s all I ask,” Mattew replied calmly. Mattew exhaled and stepped back, running a hand through his hair as fatigue settled more clearly on his face.
