The announcer’s voice spread across the field through the speakers, clear and commanding.
The crowd responded with low murmurs of excitement as people leaned forward in their seats, waiting for the event to begin. One by one, the archers walked to their assigned spots. Mattew shifted slightly in his chair and focused his attention on Natalia as she stepped onto the field.
“The competition will be held in three stages,” the announcer continued. “Each participant will shoot three arrows per stage. Scores will be based on accuracy. The archer with the highest total will be declared the winner.”
