Mattew pushed open the front door with Delilah still unconscious in his arms. He could feel her breathing, steady but faint, rising and falling against him as he carried her inside.
He had only taken a few steps into the house when he stopped abruptly.

Alistair stood in the middle of the living room as if she had been waiting for him all along. Her arms were crossed, and her eyes immediately dropped to Delilah’s unconscious form.
Mattew narrowed his gaze. “How did you find my house?”
