Mattew leaned back in his chair and looked at the group in front of him. All of them were watching him closely, waiting for his answer as if it meant everything to them. He let out a slow breath and ran a hand through his hair, thinking it through carefully. Teaching them was not something he had ever planned to do. For a long time, he had never seen any real reason to train people like this. It was not his responsibility, and he had his own problems to deal with. But at the same time, he understood something they did not. The world was unpredictable. Carter Lancaster was only one of many dangers out there. If these men ever found themselves in a worse situation, they would not survive. And if they were serious about working in security, then basic strength alone would never be enough
