After all is said and done, Maxson still brought Christabel shopping instead of bringing her back to the apartment. Anyway according to Christabel, she wants to change her style a little and Maxson doesn’t lack money. They both did a change of clothes and went out together without a driver or bodyguards. In fact, Maxson had dismissed the bodyguards since they’re all useless anyway. He can’t move too many people who are ex-militants assigned to various tasks for the Group so as of now, only one was transferred to work with Ben to follow them around when needed.
Christabel didn’t mind it much since it is really much more comfortable going out without a whole entourage of bodyguards and assistants. So when she found out that today is truly only the both of them, she felt really happy.
