Man or Monster

Chapter 9

        It is a huge machine with 60 needles. They had to place their hand in a support. It senses the hand and injects the antidote. Daily two of them become deactivated .

        In this way they managed to survive a day. Then again the projector got activated. Stanley standing and applauding "well done, I've never thought you would make it.

         I think less of you. According to me at least ten members will be dead by now. But all survived ( continuing applause). All seeing exhausted. Stanley continues' ' from now the real adventure starts.

        You people will start to show different colours. Some already started. Laughing towards the people who refused to wake them. After some time my helicopters will arrive and scatter the food all over the island.

         You should gather them and eat. No extra food is provided. Only 2500 calories of food is provided per day per person. Food is provided only to a number of people who survived that day.

        Some may think that what will happen to us  if we don't eat for a few days. We will be machine surroundings. So again a small Twist for you.

        The antidote works only if you have an active metabolism. To have an active metabolism, You should be met with 2500 calories per day as I provided.

        If you don't have active metabolism. The antidote won't spread through the body. Eventually you will die. " All people are shocked and expressionless thinking why should this happen to us?" so search your food, eat it and inject antidote to live long and prosper (laughing) "hologram shut down.

         After injecting an antidote,the group came out of the den. Waiting for the helicopters. To arrive. Some started to break the robot and started to gather its weapons.

        The helicopters arrive. The 60 food packets each with 2500 calories are scattered all over the island and some medicines for the pregnant women also provided along with it. The people started to run for the nearest food packet and started to fight for it.

        Some stubborn people started to fight for only itself, some started to run towards the next far packet. Women also move at their pace for the food and medicines.

         In the fights some are severely injured. Some are spotted by robots and get killed. Some manage to escape the robots. Some managed to pull the wires out of the robot and gathered the weapons.

        Some got murdered in fights. As a result at the end of the day 24 men and 20 women managed to survive. The surviving people survived only because they killed someone or not helped while others died.

        Soon they started to become monsters . They lost pity, ethics, morals and mercy. For their own benefits, they started to kill. Food and medicines are sufficient for all the people on the island.
