It all changes

It wasn't what it seems...

As I flip my hair so my head is upside down to wrap my towel around it Johnny comes and helps me tie it around my head. I look at his face and instead of my mate I see red eyes staring back at me. He smiles and I see blood dripping from fangs and I can't smell him anymore and Im gripped with fear. I look around the room and my parents have been bled out Johnny is laying in the floor with a silver knife through his heart and his parents have been flipped inside out. "What is wrong baby" the dead one asks. "I'd never hurt you my lycan queen". We are meant to be together and I won't stop until you and I commit through the blood ceremonies."

A scream escapes me and I turn to run for the door "baby Lucy what's wrong" as a strong familiar hand wraps around my arm.

"Get off of me I" scream. "Johnny it's ok, it's going to be ok I" I scream running to his limp body.

"Lucy Im right here baby. What's going to be okay? I can feel your fear what is going on? Lucy close your eyes okay and breathe baby" Johnny says. But I saw Johnny he was dead.

"Cadence is everything ok in there" it's my mom in mind link.

"Your dead mom how am I hearing you" I ask her through mind link.

"Sweet pup have you lost your mind I'm outside the door. We heard you screaming from down stairs" she says.

"That's that's not possible ur body is in here mom" I start crying.

"Lucy listen to me that dead ones venom bonded with you he's in your head. Close your eyes and breathe listen to Johnny" it's Jamie talking to me now.

I close my eyes and I breathe in through my nose and all I can smell is Johnny's scent of caramel and driftwood mixed with mine. I open my eyes and run into his arms as the tears fall. "I got you baby. Your safe. You will always be safe" he says against my ear as he strokes my hair. I look at him and I see those white eyes that always take away my pain. Oh my goddess my mom!!!! I push away from Johnny and run to the door.

I swing it open and my mom is standing there with a look of worry on her face. "Mom your really okay?" I ask in tears.

"Yes baby girl I'm right here" she says reassuring me what I just saw a few moments ago wasn't real. We all head to Alpha Clyde's office to talk about our next steps in finding Keith.

"Wait he's really not here" I ask. "I remember you yelling to us but then Johnny was replaced with the red eyes dead one and all of you were murdered. I thought him being gone was in my head too." I say feeling my safety slipping away.

"What happened in there" Alpha Clyde asks.

"Johnny was helping me wrap my hair in towel" I start saying realizing I've let on to us having mated. " Then when I looked up at him he wasn't him. I had red eyes staring back at me and blood covered fangs smiling in my face. I tried to run and that's when I saw my parents drained of blood, Johnny had a silver knife pierced through his heart, and you and Luna Bonnie were flipped inside out" I say as I start to cry remembering all the fear I felt not long ago. "Then Johnny was saying that he was the dead one that he was ok and I was too scared to believe him. My mom mind linked me saying she was in the hallway. Doctor Jamie told me because the dead ones venom bonded with me that he's able to get inside my head and make me see what he wants me too." I say as a tremble runs through my body." The dead one called me his lycan queen and that he wouldn't stop until he had me at his side having gone through some blood ceremony". I say in a hushed voice as I feel fear creeping in again.

"Baby your my mate. your our family future Luna of this pack. We aren't going to let him get to you. It's my dying duty to protect you" Johnny says as my mom smiles at him.

"It's only your dying duty if you've .... You didn't" my dad pipes up this time as he growls realizing we are wearing the other ones mark.

"You didn't tell her once you mark her she can't be away from you Johnny" he accuses. "She wanted to go with us to our pack lands and me her siblings and be at her rightful home" I can feel the anger in my dads tone.

"I'm so sorry Alpha Damen. We've tried fighting the mate pull. She's been here three days and neither one of us could withstand it any longer. Wait Lucy did you say he called you a Lycan queen" Johnny switches to talking to me.

"Yes why" I ask suddenly confused.

"Are you and Aurora part vampire" Johnny spat with a hateful tone at my dad.

"No we are pure bloods" he retaliated.

"Get doctor Jamie now" Alpha Clyde roars.

"While we wait for her can we get back to the Keith situation" I ask. "When did he escape and how?" I'm going to regret this answer I just know it I think to myself.

"After I lost the dead one in the woods I doubled up the security around the borders. So no one could get in and no one could get out my dear. While we were all tending to him and you keith grabbed the one guard in the cells by his throat through the cage and ripped it out getting his key in the process" Clyde says.

"So him putting his venom in my side was just a distraction" I can't stop myself from asking.

Johnny pulls me into his lap and says "It looks that way. We know they offered hi. to rule the dead ones and the rogues if he handed you over to them."

"Excuse me alpha's Luna's" Doctor Jamie says as she enters the room with her head bowed. "I was told Alpha to be Johnny requested my presence. I'd like to get back to Chloe as soon as I can with the dead ones and Keith being around. What can I help you with sir" she says.

"That deadone told Lucy she is his lycan queen do you understand why" he asks sincerely.

"Yes sir I do I've had many Burt's of research on the infamous lycans. Anytime a vampires venom bonds with a werewolf's blood they become considered a Lycan. Part vampire part wolf" she says. "Her Mark will not harm you nor will the venom running through her veins. It's not pure dead ones venom. However if he's saying she is his lycan queen I'm afraid he believes she is his mate. I wish I had better news sir" she said sympathetically.

"Thank you Jamie you can get back to your mate" Johnny says.

"Tonight we move" my dad says."But Johnny and Lucy we have to mask your scents we have to make them think your hear but we'll be in I pack lands for a week training with our members Then we'll return with you here to help train your pack. We have a few weeks at most to get out packs working as one team and functioning as one team. Our children are mates. And both in line for the role of alpha's We will finish the mating process when we have both packs together and they each swear their loyalty to both packs. Unless Lucy chooses to allow one of her brothers to take our thrown and her here" now let's get dinner and get to bed we need to move tomorrow before they come back" my dad says and we all head to the dinner hall.
