Alex still ignored me. It wasn't enough that my messages to her remained unanswered, she'd also ignored me since I checked into work. And to top it all, she swapped service with another one of our co-workers. She was going out of her way to ignore me.
And that made me realise just how much I f****d up.
It was weird even admitting it to myself, but I miss her. I miss our friendship. I miss how she'd go out of her way to check in on me at work and even offer to drop me off at home.
I miss her. And it's a feeling I never thought I would experience.
Closing time was rapidly approaching and I decided rather than approaching her again and have her ignore me, I would just show up at her house and surprise her. That way, she'd have no choice but to let me in.
