I watch Nate drive down the road, out of our residence. I can't help but feel completely unsafe and on edge. I sit on the couch whilst Amara sweeps the floor. She has become a neat freak but I'm not complaining. We gently chat with each other, talking about weird stuff. I try to think of a game to play with her whilst she heads down the hall, dusting and sweeping. I hear the sound of motors and run to the door to open for Cassy. "Hey, we've been waiting for you. I can't-" I stop when I look at the man at the door. He looked like a wolf lent him its fur, or that he stole it. I look past him but he is alone with a van behind him. "Do I know you?" I ask him and hold onto the door ready to slam it shut. "Oh I'm Richard Hill and I'm here to protect the perimeter since Cassy is unavailable.
