It had been a few months and Liam was feeling okay . No more episodes so far, he was hoping it was a freak incident. His wife never mentioned it again so he did his best to push it out of his head.

It was a normal Saturday evening and Liam was in the kitchen helping his wife cook. That’s one of the things they love to do together. Liam loved that his wife loves to cook and eat just like he did. That’s one of the first things that drew him to her.

He stills remembers that day even though it was over 15 years ago. He’s still amazed at how they met. He’d never came across anyone like her in his life.

Liam turned from the stove and went to grab ahold of the fridge door and his hand slipped and he went down to the ground. Just like before Liam had no idea what cause it he was just doing normal day things and next thing he knew he was blacked out on the floor.

2008

“ Man, I’m starving I didn’t think to pack anything for lunch I assumed we’d get a break tonight.” Liam was hoping for a longer lunch break but they were so busy no one could leave the plant.

“ Dude, I think my mom and sister are coming to bring my dad food I can see if they got extra. They should be here any minute, you want me to ask ?” Trevor said over the cb radio.

“ Yeah man just see if they got anything extra and I’ll come up and pay them for it .” I had never met Trevor’s mom and sister before. I mean I’ve seen his mom in passing but never his little sister.

“ Dude, my sister said she is willing to share her food come up and get it .” Liam was surprised that someone was willing to be so nice to a stranger. In his experience no one was ever nice for no reason.

As Liam reached Trevor and his family he stopped dead in his tracks. When Trevor mentioned his little sister Liam never thought what he was thinking now.

Standing before him offering him her food was not a kid she was a beautiful woman who had long brunette hair light hazel green eyes and the sweetest smile.

“ Here, Trevor said you were hungry I can always grab something at home enjoy. “ Not only was this woman beautiful but kind as well.

“ Thank you, I appreciate it I didn’t think to stop on my way in to work.” I try not to stutter, this woman has me at a loss. I’ve never been tongue tied before. What in the hell is going on with me.

I need to get away from her as fast as I can before I say or do something stupid I’ll regret.

“ Liam, honey are you okay what happened ?”

Slowly opens his eyes to see two kids looking at him with worried looks on their faces like they are about to cry. Then he notices his head is in the lap of his old friends little sister.

What in the f**k is going on, why am I on the floor ? Why is Trevor’s sister holding my head in her lap and calling me honey?

“ where am I, am I at your parents place ? Who are those kids and why are they looking at me ?

Why am I on the floor ? Where is Trevor or your dad Carl ? “

My head is pounding again I try to sit up and it feels like there is a bowling ball inside it. I can’t help it I got to lay my head back down. Next thing in hear is the little girl saying something.

“ Mommy, is daddy okay me and Liam are worried .” What mommy, who is her mommy ? Is Robin her mom, no way is Robin old enough to have a what maybe 10 year old? She’s only 19.

Who are these little kids and who in the f**k is their dad ? Why did she say her brothers name was Liam ?

“ Robin what’s going on who’s kids are those ? “ I look in her eyes and she looks hurt. I’ve only been around her a few times but I feel like an ass for causing that look on her face.

“ Kids, go into the play room daddy will be fine he just fell. “

she tells her kids to leave and they listen to her only after coming up to me and hugging me. It feels strangely right like they are mine in a weird sense. Why do these kids think I’m their dad, I’ve never slept with Robin I’ve only known her a few months?

Both kids in unions “ Okay mommy, we love you daddy “ then they run out of the room laughing. I look up at Robin again there is so much love in her eyes I don’t understand. I go to speak and she just says shhh and kisses my forehead.

That’s all it took it all went black again, I was lost on time again. Liam woke up on the kitchen floor with his wife holding his head.

“ Honey, what happened ? Why am I on the floor ? s**t did I fall again ? “ I’m stumped for a moment on what else to say then she does it for me.

“ Liam I think we need to go to the doctor I think there is something wrong. You blacked out again and didn’t know who we were again. This time the kids were in here. It really freaked them out . I’m worried about you honey.

It’s time to get this checked out, once is fine but now it’s happened again. I’m calling the doctor tomorrow.
