We follow the trail that leads into the woods before dads beta falls in line with us.

"Well well well, if it isn't the alpha's daughter herself...how's things kiddo? Wow, you smell just like your dad!"

"Hey Beta Andrew, it's so good to be back" I beam at him.. he used to call with my aunt and help with training growing up. I've kinda disappeared for the last ten years and worked a lot on my wolf alone.. for the last two years she keeps saying "go home Ellie" so I did.

"We're just off for our first run, I'll speak with you later at the office Andrew"

Beta Andrew nods, "yes alpha" he turns to me.. bows "Ellie"

I nod, "Beta Andrew I'll see you later!"

"Why are they treating me like this dad?"

You're the alpha's daughter Ellie and future alpha to this pack"...

I stop dead in my tracks... "what?" My eyes stare straight into his... "you can't be serious, what about Dylan?" He's not the destined alpha Ellie and you know it. You've been called back here, I can sense your power and I'm so proud of you."

Dad stares at me, "you've become a strong woman, mother and wolf, your mother did a brilliant job."

"Now, dad, ready for me to win?"

"Haha, oh yessss!"

I jump and shift into my white wolf, my dad also a white wolf along with my aunt, only three of us in Europe. (Also why everyone can sense our power.)

I hear my fathers gasp as I smirk and take off into the beautiful woods, my wolf for a female was a little on the bigger side, thanks to the Alpha genes.

"Cmon slow poke"

Dad smiles and shifts into his white wolf with a slight grey tinge to it, we speed deeper into the forest both of us tying and trying to take over. I feel pride come from dad as he looked at some of his pack who were watching us in the woods, seeing I was keeping up with the alpha seem to make them approve.

I huffed, the Scorpio in me wanting to win and show them what my aunt trained me over the years. I dash quicker sweeping in between the trees, dad slowly losing his speed.

"Look at you go sweetheart" I hear in my head, I turn around to see dad at a halt staring with the biggest grin.

"Stopped have we?" I say through our mind link, glancing at dad I see him walking over.

"That tree over there, there's some clothes tucked in beside it. Meet me back here in two"

"Yes sir" I say with a tease to it.

I'm standing waiting when I see dad jog back to the spot.

"Now, we're the hell did you learn that?" Dad says partly out of breathe.

"Auntie trained me over the years remember, and I've been keeping training up in Sweden"

Dad stares at me, "I'm sorry kiddo, always will be for missing out on so much" he looks down to the ground hiding his eyes.

"I know dad, now cmon you've two boys to meet!"

His head shoots back up, "yes let's go, I can't wait"

As we walk over to mothers cabin I tell him all about the boys, how Wyatts a little Einstein and jaxxy a clutz... "both polar opposites" I say with a laugh.

Dad stops, "what did he do to you sweetheart?"

I look dad in the eyes, after what felt like an eternity I crush him to him... "I'll tell you someday dad, just not today"

As we approach mothers, the boys run out heading straight for their papa.. "papa, papa" both boys using their wolf speed to run into dad. Nearly knocking him over. "My gosh look at you two, so tall, so big, your mother has done such a good job"

"Hi Alastair, how are we today?"

Mother kind as ever.

"Annie very well after meeting our grandbabies and seeing our daughter, how beautiful they all are"

My mother beams, "yes so beautiful" she glances at Wyatt, Jax and then to me. "Okay so anyone for coffee?" We laugh, "yes mother, coffee would be great!" I sit on the porch and prop Jax on my knee, I pull out the boy's tablet and put on geckos garage to entertain the boys.

"So daddy, how's the pack?"

"Be even better once you take over" dad smirks with a wink.. "haha no hope dad, I got the boys to raise and to be finally free and grow, I'm gonna take advantage" I say with a silly fist pump.

"What if you meet your mate? And want to settle down?" Dad says back with a hint of sarcasm laced throughout.

"Dad, what mate is gonna take on two children that aren't his? Yeno how possessive wolfs can get"

"You'll see Ellie," dad says as he steals mums smoke.

"Yes my dear, your fathers right you may meet your mate.. you never know"

"I might head to the beach later, I miss that place."

"Ahhhh you and Dunree, could never get you out of the place.. I wondered how long you'd last" mum says with a giggle. "Hey, I wanted to go there straight away I did well to last this long."

"Is that the beach by the fort?" Chimes in dad.

"Yeah, I used to go there every evening for a swim, and just sit on the beach with a coffee...I could've sat there for hours."

"With your joint" mum says and she sips her coffee.

"Hey I don't drink, I'm allowed to be a little bad"

"Haha, got your smoke for tonight sweetheart? Says dad.. "yes and my coffee waiting, I'm gonna pop these little guys to bed and head to the beach."

"Bye papa, goodnight granny Annie" says Wyatt and Jax in unison. Jax was already sleeping by the time he got to bed, Wyatt yawning as he cuddles his bear, "thank you momma" Wyatt says as he kisses me.. "what for baby?" I say looking into his little green eyes.

"For showing us your home, we love it here"

I look at Wyatt, kiss his forehead.. "me too sweet boy me too, now get to sleep, first day of school tomorrow!"

Wyatt groans, "ohhhh noo"

"Goodnight baby, sweet dreams"

I close the door and head downstairs, dad and mum sitting on the porch still.

"Hey guys, all good?"

"Yes sweetie, we're just talking about how much of a good mother you are." My mother says with her eyes glazed over.

"Yes Ellie, we're very proud of you.." dad stands up and walks over to me.

"Ellie I'd love if you patrolled the grounds with us in the morning, we have a rogue issue that needs sorting and I know you'll do great!" Dad beams...

"Ugh, dad I don't know... I mean I haven't had proper pack training." Dad breaks me off. "Now Ellie, do not doubt yourself, I can smell the power in you. You'll make a great alpha someday."

"Okay I'll come, don't cry if you can't keep up." I say as I skip to the car with a laugh, hearing my dad do the same. "oh and dad.. I'm stealing your car"
