Destined by the moon

My beach

I pull in to the lay by at the beginning of the path to the beach, I turn off the van and get in the back, taking this gorgeous vehicle in. I grab my coat and start to roll a smoke, I sip my coffee and sigh in peace.

Just as I'm finishing rolling I sense something coming up behind me, my wolf on high alert. I know it's a car or something but it's not that, it's coming with a presence.. one I can't describe. I shake it off, and finish off rolling my smoke. I go back to the drivers seat about to get out, when I see a guy getting out of his car, i see him in my sidemirror about to walk past my van. This weird feeling not leaving my side. I look to my phone as he walks past my drivers window, I know he glanced in.. butterflies begin to raise. "What the f**k is going on"

I blurt out.

I look up, staring at him from behind just as I am..he looks back and I shoot my head down, mentally kicking myself.

I wait another 5 seconds to look back up, and I see him making his way down the path to the beach. I shoot out, not knowing why I'm feeling this way.

"Adia" I call in my head"

"Follow him"

My stomach dropped, but I did as she said. I followed him.

I reach the end of the path, and look up at my usual spot, to see him at the far side sitting on a rock.

"Seems to like contemplating too"

Adia chimes in.

"Go over"

I huff her off, and make my way to my spot. This is clearly a mistake I keep saying in my head, it's something silly.

I lay my blanket down, take my jeans off, completely oblivious to guy sitting on the rock. Suddenly I smell freshly cut grass and strawberries every time the wind blew, my eyes roll at the scent. I start to run towards the water, it doesn't take me long to dive in and be completely submerged and free. This leaves me to my thoughts. "Is he a wolf?" I should know this but the butterflies completely put me off. "What is this feeling?" All I know is I want to explore what it is.

I pop my head back out of the water and see the guy starting to slowly walk along the beach, I make my way out, kinda walking diagonal so I'm in his direction.. "how desperate am I right now"

"We gotta know" Adia says in my head.

"I agree"

Every step I take I feel lighter and lighter until am out of the water and he's in front of me, I look at him.. tall, tan, built, fluffy brown hair and the most gorgeous eyes I've ever seen. A mixture between green and brown, forest eyes.

"MATE" Adia growls.

"MATE "the guy growls.

"Holy s**t" I whisper

We stood there, staring. Until I blurted out... "not getting in the water?"

He smiles, oh my gosh. The heavens have opened.

"No, I wasn't brave like you" he beams.

"Haha do it next time, I recommend it" I say smiling

I begin to walk back towards the blanket, noticing I'm only wearing a long T-shirt and a thong so it's a wet T-shirt with no bra. Good one Ellie.

He follows my stride, (thank god) I've not seen you here before, are you from here?" He says still beaming.

I smile and look to the ground as I lead the way to my blanket, "no but I came here a lot, I've just recently moved back home so I'm back to my little beach" I say to him.

"Your beach?" He says smiling at me.

"Yes I love it here, I used to come every night for years just for the sunsets" I say gleaming. "Are you local?"

He stares for a little too long, "yes I'm just a few miles from here not far at all, I'm sorry I just can't believe I've not noticed you down here before."

I laugh, "yes well I'm just back home so I've only been a few times, I moved way ten years ago."

I look at him, in complete awe. His cheekbones, lips, everything is perfect.

"Where you living now?"

"Just outside white moon pack" I say this as I know by now he's a wolf too. "What about you?"

"Red moon, your not apart of white moons pack?"

"Well kinda haven't made my mind up yet, but I gotta soon, and I don't plan on moving back to Sweden."

I hear this gorgeous laugh, "I'm sorry, forgive me.. I'm Damien, he holds out his hand. Oh my god his gorgeous big hands.

I reach it, and immediately jump at the electricity, the sparks I look up at him, his eyes staring straight into my soul. I stare at him back, soaking him in. Until I break out of it.

I sit down, and he sits just off my blanket.

"Oh shittttt" the voice in my head says.

"Do you smoke?"

I say as I pull out my joint, what a turn on I must be right now as I say into myself.

I hear his laugh again, "no I do the odd time, but I can't handle it too good." He shyly laughs, "but please work away" he smiles.

I attempt to light it, but the wind isn't giving me a break. Damien sits up and opens his jacket to give me shelter, I get one whiff and I feel my eyes close, my stomach raise to my mouth.. and my s*x got oh so wet.

"I got it lit, thank you" I look up to him, I see him, eyes glazed over, his scent changing.

He sits back down.

"So tell me about you?"

I smile, cause I stupidly haven't introduced myself.

"I'm Linda, but call me Ellie" I smile, "I'm 26, a divorcee, I lived in Sweden for the last ten years with my two gorgeous boys, and we've just moved back in with my mother."

I look at him, I see him smile.

"How old are your boys?"

"4 and 6" I gaze at him for taking interest.

"That's awesome, I bet your a great mother." He beams...

I smile, "I try, they're my world. I hope they'll like it here."

The butterflies won't quit it and I begin to sweat, I've never felt like this.

"What do you do Damien?" I ask him as I gaze at him once more.

"I have a farm not far from here, also a little construction too."

I wet at the thought of him in a tractor, oh the things I would do. f**k me stop it Ellie, I say to myself.

I smile, "farmer? No way that's great"

He beams, "yes I love it"

"What do you do Ellie?" His gaze his smile is piercing my soul.

"Financial advisor, but I've took the last two years off and on finally got back home. It's been great so far."

I sit up, gather my belongings and slip on my jeans. I know I see him stare. He lifts my blanket, i look at him. "I got it" he grins.

Jesus. My heart.

"Thank you" I smile

We begin to walk up the path, "How great it must be to live those close to this beach!" I feel his pride pouring off him.

That's when I smell it. Alpha.

"Yes I'm very lucky, to live and work here." He smiles at me. Which can I say, my senses are completely off if I'm only noticing he's an alpha now. Stupid hormones.

"When are you coming back down?" He says as we reach my van.

"Haha, that'll be tomorrow" I say as I throw my stuff in.

I walk to the front and stare out, "it's so beautiful I come as much as I can, I feel at peace here."

I feel it again. I smell his power. But I also smell arousal and my wolf begins to pace.

I glance at him, I catch his stare too. I look out to the ocean for what seems like hours in silence. Breathing in his scent, his laugh, his voice. Just standing shoulder to shoulder.

"Maybe the next time your coming down give me a call?" He beams.

"Yes ofcourse" I say shyly.

"What's your number?" He says.

I have never been as nervous in my life, as I type my number in and save it.

"There you go" I say with a hint of nerves.

I look at him, "it was so nice to meet you, and thank you for keeping me company Damien."

"Oh no, the pleasure was mine, please call me next time your down Linda" he smiles, staring me up and down.

"I sure will, drive safe" I smile.

I get in the van and take the biggest breath in I could, "what just happened?"

"That was our mate."

That feeling, oh my gosh.. I look at the time and realise we've been at the beach for 4 hours, "oh my goodness that flew."

I see he's still parked behind me, waiting for me to take off.

"Jesus, I need the vibrator tonight"

The drive home takes longer, I'm just processing what happened. I met my mate at my favourite place on Earth, like what the hell? I pull in and see mother rocking on her chair, "you okay momma?"

"Ofcourse my love" she says, I lean in and kiss her cheeks, and sit down in the other rocker, coffee waiting for me.

"I need a big joint Mum" i say as I dramatically sit in the rocker. "You're not gonna believe what happened."

Mother stands up quickly, gauging my aura she runs out with smokes in hand.

"Spill" she sits staring wide eyed.

"I found my mate"

She gasps and I just about catch her cup.

"WHAT? You've only been here two days!"

I laugh, "I know, what timing."

"He's gorgeous, I sensed him before I saw him.. I couldn't figure out what it was, he was at the beach to."

Mother looks at my neck.

"Jesus mother we just spoke, that was all. Definitely no marking." I laugh.

"He took my number and I might be seeing him tomorrow, mum what the hell do I do? I said I didn't want this yet. I'm not ready."

"Baby girl, mates are destined. I'm not a wolf and I know this, meet him again see what happens. You're only going once. Also I thought he would've had you marked and everything."

"He was definitely not scary, very kind and showed interest in the boys."

"What he say?" Mum asks wanting to know.

"He smiled and asked how old they were."

"I sensed it though, the need to touch him, feel him. We shook hands and I nearly died."

Mother let's off the biggest laugh.

"Hahaha, see sweetie. Destined. Oh what's your father gonna say? Where's this guy from?"

"For one, dad will know nothing we just met!" I smile at her.

"His name is Damien, he's runs a farm by the beach and is also in construction.. from Red moon pack and from what I sensed Alpha of Red moon pack."

Mother snorts.

"Oh I'm sorry sweetheart, but your dad was right all this time" still laughing.

"Shush, what wolf will take a mate that has been married and already has pups momma, I know he showed interest but you know what they're like with their mate stuff."

"Less of that attitude Flower."

I stop, I haven't heard her call me that since I was a little girl.

"I'm gonna check on the boys, I love you. I say as I look back."
