Brother`s Best Friend Mate

Chapter Eleven

      I take a cold shower and put my clothes on for the day to go visit Tony and Reme at the hospital. I grab things I need, go downstairs, get in my truck and head to my destination. I enter the hospital, retrieve my visitor`s pass from the help desk assistant, get on the elevator and head to Reme`s room. When I enter the room I walk in to seeing Tony brushing Rem`s hair while being in his arms. "Peace g., how is she,"? Being honest Tommy with her temperature fluctuating I`d be uncertain in giving you a definitive answer. Right now her temperature is moderate.

      Blaze tells me that Asia tells him that Reme and her are feeling uncertain and unsure of how they`ll be accepted or will their mates reject, hate, accept or love them and they`re afraid that they may hurt the pack. It be times I look at Reme and she has tears coming down her face. Man, whoever is Reme`s mate I hope he accepts and loves her. I hope he doesn`t reject her. She`ll be devastated. She`s a very special energy whether her mate would realize it or not," says Tony. "Yo god it`s time to get ready so we can leave for the party and ceremony. The sooner we get you there the sooner we can get you back to the hospital," I tell Tony. 

    Okay Tommy I`m getting ready now give me a  minute with her alone their`s a prayer that I say to her that I told her as a best friend knowne else would hear and when she comes back she has to be able to say it and that`s how I will know if she heard me while in the subconscious," Tony says. "Ohh, that`s a good idea Tony, okay, I`ll be outside waiting in the truck," I tell Tony. Tony gently gets out of the bed, secures Rem in the hospital bed, raises the bars so she won`t fall out of the bed and goes into the bathroom to get ready for the party. I blow a kiss to my sister and leave the room for the truck to wait for Tony.    

TONY P.O.V

  "Reme, whatever happens tonight I`m still gonna be by your side...No matter what. You`re an angel and the world`s gonna see it. It`s because me that you`re here. Being honest I really don`t want to go but I`ll become an Alpha tonight and probably`ll find my mate too,"  I say to Reme. I may be wrong for what I`m about to do but I`ve always had strong feelings for Reme beyond friends. We`ve always mutually knew of our feelings for each other but never actually acted on it. I may find my mate tonight and would never know what it may have been like to kiss you. So I do it! I look down at her and kiss her soft succulent lips with so much passion that I wish it could awaken her, but it don`t. Reme cuddles in my arms even more and smiles. I get up from the bed, fix my clothes and kiss Reme one more time. "I`ll be back later goddess. I hope I don`t find my mate tonight. I blow Reme a kiss then leave the room. I see Tommy in the truck, get in, give him a pound then we bounce from the hospital to the pack house.

 TOMMY`S P.O.V.

  We pull up to the parking spot and see our moms` waiting for us at the front door. "C`mon, c`mon get on in here. Get yall selves ready and come on back down here in a hour so we can start the ceremony.The Alpha is going to do one ceremony for all three of you...now go," says Luna Jennifer. Tony and I rush in the house and go to our rooms. I jump in the shower, clean myself and dry off. I look in the closet to see what I can rock for the ceremony. "Ahh here we go, this what I`m a wear. I`m a go vintage on them. I`m a rock my fresh Red, Black and Green furry Kangol, Gold Ankh from Red Pill`s King`s kounty Klothier draped over my outfit from Queen Afua given to me by Bro. Jabari Osaze and The Shrine of Ma`at and of course the brown Wallabees. I mind link Tony and  Lee to see was they ready. They were so we all meet in the hallways.

     Lee has on the ceremonial edition outfit straight out of Itiopi made by some Falasha Hebrew women we met. Tony kept it simple with the white Nautica button up with the blue boat on it, Amen-Ra Squad blue denims, caramel Wally`s and Red Pill King`s Kounty Klothier amethyst crystal amulets. We all go downstairs to politic with the folks, mingle with the themnd such as we enter the pack house auditorium. "Thanks Ma and Da," I say. "Yeah Thanks Ma and Pops," Tony says. "Thanks Alpha, Luna, Mr. & Mrs. Black for the honor," Lee says. "You young men deserve it. Just make us proud and I believe you will," my Mother says.

      "Okay gentleman, it`s time we go up to the stage," says Alpha. We follow my parents,Lee`s parents Alpha and Luna to the stage. As we walk up to the stage we hear screams, whistles and yells from friends, family and admirers. We acknowledge the love and walk up to the stage taking our seats. Alpha steps to the podium, grabs the mic, taps it and clears his voice. "Excuse me can I have everyone`s attention please? We`re here this evening to celebrate three very important events in our epoch.

     Today as we all should know, there are two borndays we`re commemorating.They all have reahed a pivotal time in their lives as well as everyone in our pack. One, them reaching the age of 18 years old, a time when we as humanawolves acquire the ability of sensing our mates and the other event is the Coronation of Alphahood as well as the Honoring and Promotion of Betas and Deltas Ceremony. "Luna Jennifer, bring us the goblet and sacrificial knife," says Alpha. "Yes indeed Alpha," says Luna. Luna brings forth the goblet handing the knife to Alpha. Alpha extends his hands towards Lee gesturing him to come forth to the front of the stage.

     Lee walks up to Alpha and the Alpha grabs Lee arm telling him to open his hand. Alpha recites the secret blood oath to Lee as he gives him the s***h of secrecy to the palm of his hand. Lee`s blood drips into the sacrificial goblet and next is me. I go through the same ritual as Lee. The Alpha slices the palm of my hand allowing my blood to drip in the sacrificial goblet as well. Lastly is Tony and being he`s becoming an Alpha, the highest and most prestigious figure of a pack he has to give himself the sacrificial blood oath. Alpha hands Tony the sacrificial knife. 

     Alpha recites a different secret oath called The Alpha`s Axiom Dictum to Tony while he gives himself the sacrificial s***h to his hand, adhereing to secrecy. We all watch as Tony`s blood drips into the goblet with pride. Alpha passes the goblet to Luna to place on the sacrificial stand for us to drink. Alpha instructs us to shift into Danny, Blaze and Adam so that we may drink from the goblet for it would cannibalistic for us a humans to drink blood. Once we shift into our wolves and Danny, Blaze and Adam smell hemoglobin they rush to the goblet drinking from it with earnest. After drinking from the goblet they shift back into human form and Tony passes the goblet to his Father; the Alpha.

      Lee, Tony and I then hold hands interlocking them and this is when we feel a transference of powerful energy passing throughout our entire body. This` the power of our Superior`s body`s being passed to us. Alpha then goes to the mic and says, "Young men please stand up as I ask every one of you out here to stand as we celebrate The Coronation of Packhood of our New Delta: Lee Jack Jackson , our New Beta: Thomas Jason Black and finally introducing our New Alpha my Sun: Antonio Kade Greenson! Everyone in the auditorium gives us a celebratory standing ovation for 10 minutes.

     After the standing ovation everyone approaches to congratulate the three of us. In the midst of all the celebration I lose sight of my parents and Zack. Tony and I continue to look around and we still can`t find my parents or Zack. I give my ol` earth a call. "Ma, where are you guys? Tony and I was looking for yall," I say. "Oh Sun, we went back to the hospital. We`re in Reme`s room. We didn`t want to impose on such a well deserved and beautiful moment in your lives," says my mother. "Well Thanks Ma but I know at least Tony would want to be there and I`m truly too concerned about Reme to really enjoy myself. How is she Tony asked? "Wellll...she seems to be doing okay as far as I can tell at the moment," says Mother. "What`s wrong Ma , you sound worried.

      We`ll be there in a few minutes," I say to my mother. "No, No, No...everything is fine Tommy. You two enjoy yourselves. We`ll be fine. I`ll mind link you or Tony to keep yall posted.I have to go to check on your sister. Good fortune in finding your mate son. Maybe you can bring her here when you find her so we can all meet her," my Mother says. "Will do Olda Goddess and tell Reme we love her...1," I say to mother. "Everyone may I have your attention!!! Now our birthday boys will look for their mates. Please be quiet and stay where you are," Luna says.Tony and I walk around the room to see if our mates are here. 

     All of sudden Danny says," MATE,"!!!!!! I smell an intoxicating smell of strawberry, honey and  banana so I walk to the drinking table where the smell seems to get stronger and stronger. When I get to the table I clear my voice to get the females` attention. When I do it she turns around it seems in slow motion. I`m completely flabbergasted to know now that my mate`s Kimmy. We simultaneously laugh hysterically. Kimmy gets up from her chair and I pull her in my arms and kiss her with so much love. Kimmy says," is this for real or a joke"? I say to Kimmy,"naw baby we`re mates, all day and night". 

     Kimmy starts to cry. "Why you crying Love," I ask? "Well I`m not like Kittie I`m still under age. Are you sure you really want me," Kimmy asks? "Word is Bond Kimmy I want you and only you. Kimmy I`ve always admired you, wishing that you would be my mate. I`m so sorry I didn`t wait for you. You`re right you`re not Kittie. You`re very special to me and Kittie isn`t. You waited for me and I thank you and I feel honored once more that you would do that for me baby and I Love You Kimmy. Let me see if Tony has found his mate yet," I say to Kimmy. We walk holding hands trying to go find Tony. 

    "There`s Tone, Kimmy, he`s outside sitting on the porch. Lets go out with him," I say to Kimmy. On our way to getting close to Tony, James and Jean steps to us to congratulates us. "That`s what I`m talking b. Congratulations Tommy on finding your mate, word is bond...Much success," says James. "Give Thanks," Kimmy and I say in unison. We finally reach Tony as he`s outside on the porch. Tony feels our presence as we get closer to him and turns around. 

      "Ohhhhhhh s**t g.! Kimmy`s your mate?! I knew she would be. Congratulations to the both of you. Kimmy, Tommy is a great dude and I ain`t just saying that because he`s my brother from another mother or because he`s my Beta. I`m saying that keepin` it 1000 witchu, word is bond goddess," says Tony. "I know Tony. I`ve been watching Tommy for a while. He ain`t going nowhere," Kimmy responds. "Give Thanks god for that good word, vouching for the god. I appreciate that g. Did you find your mate yet, Lord," I ask? "Naw, keepin` it 100, I ain`t been really looking. I`ve been thinking about Reme, hopin` she aight. I`m about to dip to the hospital to check on Rem. Yall comin`, let`s go," Tony says. We all leave out of the side door unnoticed, get in Tony`s whip and head back to the hospital to be with Reme.
