Brother`s Best Friend Mate

Chapter Seventeen

    Tony and I go back to our room. He puts me down from carrying me over his shoulder to the floor. When he turns around to face me; he sees I'm crying and asks me, ''Baby why were you crying''? ''When I went to see Tommy to make sure he was really okay and Zack came in the room with their family loving embrace; then they were assuring me of their love and protection. It was so overwhelming to me. That's why baby,'' I tell him. He said, ''Baby when you went into a coma Zack stepped to me and Tommy and knocked us on our asses. He told us that our pack, mothers and mates and Tina should be the most important people in our lives; no one else. Jade meant nothing to me baby and I don't care how many times I have to reiterate the s**t to you but I will until you believe me,'' says Tony. ''I love you so much and thank you for saying that,'' I say. I love you too,'' Tone says; then we embrace and kiss.

ZACK POV:

                    Chilling in my room with my beautiful mate; laying on the bed watching Hidden Colors and Tommy thru a mind link asks me to come to his room a.s.a.p. ''What's up is something wrong Tommy,'' I ask?  ''It's Rem; she's in my room crying. Can you come here to the room,'' Tommy asks? I go to Tommy's room, I walk into my brother room and, I see my baby sister crying  hugging Tommy. I mind link Tony for him to come to my brother's room because I think she's upset and I walk up joining them in the hug which surprises her making her cry with more intensity. I tell her that we love her and we will always be here to protect her. We held my sister tight letting her know that we love her.

      Tony comes to Tommy's room to see why Reme was upset or so we thought; but when he gets there he sees that we have everything under control. He just stands in the doorway admiring our familial bond with glee. When she looks up she saw Alpha Tony and she really is at calm releasing herself from our embrace. Reme runs into his open arms and Tony carries her away like a damsel in distress. 

          I wake up, look at the clock and it's 5:30 a.m. I decide to get up to go for a run to let Asia out. She'll love that; plus this'll be our second time shifting. I need to do it more often anyway; to master my abilities. I went to the bathroom to take a shower. After I finish I jump out drying myself off, brush my teeth and put my hair in french braids. Back in the room Tone is still asleep. He looks sooo sweet and peaceful that I don't want to wake him. I don't wanna disturb him so I mind link the girls to see if they were woke. They're awake too so, I ask them would they like to go for a run? They all want to run as well so I let them know to not wake their mates up. By 6:25 they all meet me down in the kitchen ready to go for our morning  run. 

        ''Hey ladies, are your mates still asleep,'' asks Jean? ''Yeah, they had a hard day yesterday. We'll let them get their proper rest. I got bottles of waters and some fruit in my bag for us,'' I say. After giving commemoration to the ancestors; we all leave out of the back door. At the woods we go and change behind the trees. I'm the last one to shift while my friends were already wolves. Wow they're wolves are so beautiful. Kimmy's wolf is light brown with gold eyes, Maryann's wolf is dark gray with black spots on it's ears with black eyes, Leeanne's wolf is dark brown with white ears and green eyes, Tina's wolf is light red with black on her tail and ears; light blue eyes, Jean's wolf is light gray with brown eyes and my wolf is white and light bluish green with silver and purple eyes. 

        We take off running around thru the forest chasing each other, jumping over tree branches, logs and through bushes for hours. We reach the beautiful lake and jump in the water shifting back into human form playing around until we hear some noises. We look around trying to identify and sense where it's coming from; realizing it's our mates standing there looking at us of us angrily. We look at each other then at our mates innocently. Their's a 10 second silence and I say, "Ha, Ha...ummm, Good Morning guys''! They don't respond. They just stand there with their hands on their waist with stern expressions on the their faces staring at us as if we've done something wrong. I mind link the girls, ''let's get out of the water yall before these dudes have a damn heart attack''. Jean says, ''What, we'll be naked Luna''! ''Don't worry girl they'll be too busy trying to cover us up. 

      All that anger will be out the window once they see us ass naked,'' Leeanne says. We get out of the water and you should see how fast our mates come running to us putting there arms around us . ''Please get back in the water and change into your wolves. Hurry up ...quickly,'' Lee says to us. With haste we get back into the lake, changing back into our wolves and then resurface. When we come out of the water; the guys are already wolves waiting for us. The guys nudge us with their noses for us to leave the forest and Rock Lake. On the way back to the pack house everybody is having a ball; playing with each other still having big fun until we all get close to the pack house. In a flash  we all dash with our mates behind trees shifting back into humans; changing into our clothes. Now dressed we all walk to the pack house thru the back door. We enter thru the kitchen to see Tony parents and my parents eating breakfast. 

      Everyone greets each other and Tony leads the way pointing to the living room for all six of us to follow him. Luna and my Old Earth ask, ''what did you all do''? ''We didn't tell them we were going for a run,'' Maryann says reluctantly. ''Ouch, well good luck because yall gonna to need it. We'll talk to yall later,'' they both say. We sit on the sofa and the love seat; looking at our mates with blank expressions on our faces. 15 minutes of silence Tony finally speaks. ''What the hell are yall thinking going for runs early in the morning without us accompanying yall? Why didn't you all wake us,'' asks Tony? ''Well, you all had a busy day yesterday so we decided to let yall sleep,'' Kimmy says. 

        ''That don't give you all the right to not wake us,'' Tommy says. ''I know but we all were together the whole time,'' Leeanne says. ''So what, do you know rogues could've  came on the territory, kidnapped you all or killed you or r***d you all. You're so lucky it was us,'' James says. ''Yo, I need yall to discuss the importance of what your mates did wrong. We'll see yall later,'' Tony says. Everyone left leaving me here with Tony and he looks soo upset.  Tony puts his hand out, I take it and we go to our room. When we get inside of our room Tony locks the door behind him as I go to sit on the bed waiting for Tony to scold me. Thru extra sensory perception Tony begins to talk to Blaze.

        As he mentally communicates with Blaze his eyes looks as if he's possessed; going back and forth changing from light brown to black. After they finish talking he sits next to me, grabbing my hand and kisses it. ''Baby when I woke up; first  I said oh she in the bathroom so I went back to sleep but when Tommy mind linked me and asked me was Kimmy over here? I told him that she wasn't here then Timmy and James mind linked me looking for there mates, then Zack and Lee did the same. I told them all no; then told them all to meet me in the living room in 20 minutes. When we met up in the kitchen we could smell yall scent but it was getting very faint as time went by.

      I told Zack to mind link Tina to see if she could tell us where yall all were but she had blocked him. Baby, you, Kimmy, Maryann, Jean and Leeanne aren't marked yet and that scared us to death. The unmarked male wolves will mark yall when they get a chance. Now here we had rogues attack us yesterday and yall pull this s**t? Do you know how that scared the s**t out of us? For now on if yall want to go for a run and it's just you girls you've  gotta let us know for future reference. Reme you're our Luna so I need to assign 4 warriors to you starting tomorrow wherever you go. 

      The only time they won't be with you is when we are with you. Other than that they'll be your shadow. They'll be  Kimmy's protection as well. Maryanne, Tina, Leeanne and Jean will have 3 warriors with them,'' Tony says. ''We can take care of ourselves practically well on our own; why do we need that,'' I ask? He says, ''because when Tommy, Lee and I can't be with you three we'll know that you're safe. ''I understand all of what your saying but I'm not special,'' I say. ''DAMN IT...Reme, you are special! You're special to me and I'll die if something happens to you,'' Tony says. By this time Tony's upset. I need to calm him down so I stand up and walk over to him. I put my arms around him and tell him that I understand and I accept the warriors protection if that's what he wants.
