“And why does Lila have your phone number?” I asked, throwing everything at them. “Since when has she had it?”
The twins exchanged a glance, as if deciding which of them would answer.
“Beautiful, there’s an explanation for all of that,” Asher said.
“Perfect. I want to hear it,” I replied, crossing my arms over my chest.
“We know where you live because we wanted to make sure your boyfriend wouldn’t bother you again,” Jonas admitted. “It was the day of the bathroom incident.”
It wasn’t exactly the answer I expected—but at least it seemed honest.
“And the number? Why does Lila have it—and since when?”
