As Raven woke up, she was startled to see Theo sitting next to her on the side of the bed, half-asleep. She slowly removed the blanket from on top of her and moved off of the bed. She quietly tiptoed to the door of the room, trying to keep her calm, as she watched Theo, making sure he wasn't awakening. She placed her hand on the doorknob, softly twisting it and pulling the door. Then, she saw him, standing only feet away past the door. Fear pulsed through her veins as she stumbled backward, falling onto the bed. At the movement, Theo woke up, watching what was unraveling before him. "Raven, calm down..." Dasker stepped closer to her, making sure not to overstep. "No," Raven shivered, "What are you?" Theo placed a hand on her shoulder, but she immediately shook it off. "Get away from me!" Dasker could hear her quick heartbeat from across the room, and he could smell her fear. Before Raven could grasp what was happening, Dasker sped over to her in inhuman speed, his eyes red. He placed his hands on her shoulders. "Forget you ever saw me turn, forget the kiss." Theo's face had a look of confusion which swiftly turned into anger. "Theo found you in the desert and brought you here. You had a bad dream." His eyes returned to normal. Raven collapsed into his arms, and he placed her back onto the bed. Dasker glared at Theo for a moment, then the two walked out of the room. "You kissed her?" Theo confronted, irritated. Dasker growled and slammed Theo to the wall with one hand. "Don't forget who you're speaking to." His eyes were red, thirsty for blood. Theo lowered his head in submission. "Talk to me like that again, and I'll have your head." He released his hold, and Theo started for the door. "One more thing." Theo stopped in his tracks, looking back. "Yes, alpha?" "She kissed me." Dasker walked away and headed for his office, a slight grin forming on his face. Theo felt a fire burn inside of him, but he couldn't act on it. If he did, he would surely be dead. Instead, he went to the inn and headed straight for the bar. Fuming, he aggressively banged his fist on the wood, unable to control his anger any longer. Everyone in the inn was startled- not often did they see their beta so furious. "Give me a bottle." He commanded and the bartender obeyed quickly. Theo chugged the bottle, stopping to stare at the man who had approached him. It was Ashton, a close friend of Theo for years. "Dude, you okay? What happened?" "Not now." Theo hissed. "Okay... What happened to your girlfriend?" Ashton let out a slight chuckle, hoping to shed some light on the situation. Instead, Theo's anger was fueled, and he pushed Ashton down to the ground, short gasps circling the room. He looked up. "What the hell are you all looking at!?" He hissed, then finished the bottle of alcohol in his hand. Everyone's eyes turned away, the room as quiet as ever.
